Starbucks workers in Tampa are organizing a new union store and they need your support to show corporate that they are not alone! Stand with baristas fighting for fair schedules, living wages, and respect on the job because your solidarity makes a difference. Join us for W(h)ine & Paint with Joy — an evening of creativity, connection, and collective action. Each quarter, our wine & paint event will be themed around a social justice movement or correlating holiday celebration, grounding us in reflection, artistic expression, and the power of movement work.
This is a BYOB event (that’s the “wine” bit), so bring your favorite drink and let your creativity flow! As you sip and paint, you'll also engage in guided listening and sharing sessions, creating space to deepen relationships, share stories, and build trust inspired by the month’s theme.
We invite you to express yourself (that’s the “whine” bit), connect, create, reflect, and strengthen the bonds that fuel collective liberation. Whether you're an artist, an activist, or someone curious to connect more deeply, come experience an evening that blends creativity & community! Registration required!

Global Liberation Committee: Life Cycle of a T-Shirt

Join the CFJWJ Global Liberation Committee for an impactful, virtual discussion exploring the many workers around the world involved in producing a single t-shirt. Based on an activity by Catalyst Project, we’ll unpack the intersections of globalization, capitalism, racism, and patriarchy, and discuss how cross-border solidarity can help us build a stronger working class.

Join us for CFJWJ First Friday Movie night on March 7th @CTA 1020 Webster St, Orlando, FL 32804 at 6pm. We will be screening Salt of the Earth, a film based on the true story of Mexican workers at a zinc mine who call a general strike. It is only through the solidarity of the workers, and importantly the unwavering determination of their wives, mothers, and daughters, that they eventually triumph. There will be free dinner and snacks. Also a group reflection to follow the movie. We hope to see you there! RSVP required.
